Nepal — Individual Privacy Act 2018 (2075)
We collect and process personal data in accordance with Nepal's Individual Privacy Act 2018 (Byaktigat Gupta ta Sambandhi Ain 2075) and the Digital Privacy and Data Protection Act 2025. These acts require us to obtain your explicit consent, use your data only for the stated purpose, and grant you the right to access, correct, or delete your information.
International Students — GDPR
If you are a resident of the European Union or European Economic Area, your data is additionally protected under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing is your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority at any time.

Analytics & Cookies
How we track website usage to improve your experience
Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 collects anonymised data through cookies and similar tracking technologies, including:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Approximate location (country/city level)
- Referral source (how you found our website)
Your choice: You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings. Your browsing will not be affected.
Data Retention
How long we keep your information
Admission Leads
Contact form submissions are retained for 1 year from the date of submission. After successful enrolment, records are archived for an additional 6 months and then permanently deleted.
Analytics Data
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months as per our GA4 configuration, after which it is automatically deleted by Google.
Data Security
Measures we take to protect your personal information
We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls restricting data to authorised admission staff only, and use of third-party processors that maintain SOC 2 and industry-standard security certifications. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; while we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To exercise any of these rights, please email admin@ncmt.edu.np with your full name and request. We will respond within 30 days in accordance with Nepal's Individual Privacy Act 2018.

By submitting your information through our contact or admission forms, you explicitly consent to the collection and use of your data as described in this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at admin@ncmt.edu.np. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

We review and update this Privacy Policy at least once a year or whenever our data practices change materially. When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to revisit this policy periodically.
