Horaa Esports Crowned Champions of NCMT Booyah Blitz Season 2

National College of Management and Technical Science (NCMT College) successfully concluded Booyah Blitz Season 2, its flagship Free Fire esports tournament, with Horaa Esports emerging as the tournament champions after an exciting week-long LAN Grand Finals held at the college's Samakhushi campus.

The tournament commenced with online registrations on 3 July 2026, attracting an impressive 576 teams from across Nepal. Teams competed through three rounds of online qualifiers, followed by quarterfinals and semifinals, before the top 18 teams secured their place in the LAN Grand Finals, which took place from 26–31 July 2026 at the NCMT Sports Ground.

The Grand Finals followed a league-stage format, with the top 12 teams sharing a total prize pool of NRS 300,000. After a series of highly competitive matches, the final standings were:

As tournament champions, Horaa Esports claimed the NRS 80,000 first-place prize. The remaining prize pool was distributed among the top 12 teams, with awards ranging from NRS 50,000 for second place to NRS 3,000 for twelfth.

Booyah Blitz Season 2 was organized by the NCMT Esports Community with support from Garena Free Fire, highlighting NCMT College's continued commitment to promoting esports and creating competitive opportunities for students and the wider gaming community.

The event was made possible through the support of Jhushe Esports as the Production Partner, Defshot Official as the Management Partner, Kill Zone as the Gaming Partner, CGNET as the Internet Partner, and the National Employment Training Centre as the Training Partner. Several food and hospitality partners from Kathmandu also contributed to the successful execution of the tournament.

All LAN-qualified teams received customized NCMT Esports jerseys, adding to the professional tournament experience. Throughout the event, matches were streamed live on NCMT College's official YouTube channel and Instagram, allowing audiences across the country to follow the competition.

Looking ahead, NCMT College has announced that the Booyah Blitz Season 2 Promotional Showdown will take place in August 2026. The event will feature additional prizes of NRS 20,000, NRS 15,000, and NRS 10,000 for the top three teams, along with a NRS 5,000 MVP Award.

Through initiatives such as Booyah Blitz, NCMT College continues to strengthen Nepal's growing esports ecosystem by providing a professional competitive platform, fostering gaming talent, and encouraging innovation in digital sports.
